Ayaṃ pana vitthāro, yaṃ tāva vuttaṃ ‘‘yvāssa dasasu palibodhesu palibodho atthi, taṃ upacchinditvā’’ti, ettha –

（一）（破除十种障碍）先就「破除那十种障碍之中的障碍」而说，即所谓：

Ñ(III,29): 29. The detail is this:

[The Ten Impediments]

Firstly it was said above, he should sever any of the ten impediments that he may have. [90] Now the 'ten impediments' are:

Āvāso ca kulaṃ lābho, gaṇo kammañca pañcamaṃ;

Addhānaṃ ñāti ābādho, gantho iddhīti te dasāti. –

众与业第五，

旅行亲戚病，

读书神变十。

Ñ: A dwelling, family, and gain,

A class, and building too as fifth,

And travel, kin, affliction, books,

And supernormal powers: ten.

Sayādaw U Sīlānanda: [building = kamma, means work to be done on building the monastery]. Han: Mahāsī Sayādaw also [building = kamma, means work to be done on building the monastery] .

Ime dasa palibodhā nāma.

这些是十种障碍的名字。

Ñ:

Tattha āvāsoyeva āvāsapalibodho.

此中的所谓住所 ── 即为住所的障碍。

Ñ: Herein, the dwelling itself is the 'impediment due to the dwelling'.

Esa nayo kulādīsu.

其它的所谓家等亦以同样的方法解说。

Ñ: So too with the family and so on.
