A compendium of the Theravāda Buddhist philosophy and meditation, the Visuddhimagga, meaning "Path of Purification (清净道论)", was written in Sri Lanka in the early 5th century AD by Venerable Buddhaghosa (觉音尊者).
Vāyokasiṇavasena vāyugatigamanaṃ, vātavuṭṭhisamuppādananti evamādīni ijjhanti.
依于「风遍」,能速行如风:能降风雨,有此等成就。
Ñ(V,31): The air kasiṇa is the basis for such powers as going with the speed of the wind, causing wind storms.
