268. Ettha siyā, kasmā panetā mettākaruṇāmuditāupekkhā brahmavihārāti vuccanti?

（关于四梵住的四个问题）这里有几个问题：（1）为什么此等慈悲喜舍名为梵住？

Ñ(IX,105): And here it may be asked: But why are lovingkindness, compassion, gladness, and equanimity, called divine abidings?

Kasmā ca catassova?

（2）为什么（梵住）有四？

Ñ: And why are they only four?

Ko ca etāsaṃ kamo,

（3）此等（四梵住）的次序如何？

Ñ: And what is their order?

abhidhamme ca kasmā appamaññāti vuttāti?

（4）为什么在阿毗达摩之中称（梵住）为无量？

Ñ: And why are they called measureless states in the Abhidhamma?
