Evaṃ samīpaṃ katvā jappanaṃ sāmantajappāti veditabbaṃ.
作此等相近之说而欲有所得的为「迂回谈」。
Ñ(I,79): Such talk that keeps near [to the subject] should be understood as indirect talk.
Parikathāti yathā taṃ labhati tassa parivattetvā kathananti.
「曲折说」，老是曲曲折折的盘绕而说，直至获得他所需求的为止。
Ñ: Roundabout talk is talking round and round [the subject] as much as is allowed.
