Ghānapaṭihananalakkhaṇo gandho,
ghānaviññāṇassa visayabhāvaraso, tasseva gocarapaccupaṭṭhāno.
（八）「香」──有扑鼻的特相。有为鼻识之境的味。以它存在的范围为现起。
Ñ(XIV,56): 8. Odour has the
characteristic of impinging on the nose. Its function is to be the
object of nose-consciousness. It is manifested as the resort of that
too.
Mūlagandho sāragandhotiādinā nayena
anekavidho.
它有根香及木髓之香等多种。
Ñ: It is of various kinds as 'root
odour, heartwood odour' (Dhs. §625) and so on.
