Visuddhimagga XVII-42

 Tāsu desanāsu ‘‘avijjāpaccayā saṅkhārā’’ti ayamidha avijjāvasena ekadhammamūlikā desanāti veditabbā. Evaṃ tāvettha desanābhedato viññātabbo vinicchayo.

于此等的说法中:「以无明为缘而有行」,这样以无明一法为根本的说法,当知为此处之意。

──如是当知先以说法的差别的抉择──

Ñ(XVII,42): Of these ways of presentation, that cited here in the form 'With ignorance as condition there are formations' should be understood as one based on a single state. This, firstly, is how the exposition should be known 'as to different ways of teaching'.
