Yā pana ‘‘upekkhāsatipārisuddhiṃ catutthaṃ jhāna’’nti (dī. ni. 1.232; dha. sa. 165) evamāgatā sabbapaccanīkaparisuddhā paccanīkavūpasamanepi abyāpārabhūtā upekkhā, ayaṃ pārisuddhupekkhā nāma.
(10)「由于舍而念遍净为第四禅」,如是说则称遍净一切障碍亦不从事于止息障碍为舍,是名「遍净舍」。
