Evaṃ catupañcālopasaṅkhādanamattaṃ avissāsiyo paritto jīvitassa addhāti evaṃ addhānaparicchedato maraṇaṃ anussaritabbaṃ.
如是咀嚼四五团饭食之间的短促寿命的时间尚不可靠，当这样的「以生命的限制」而念死。
Ñ(VIII,38): So short in fact is the extent of life that it is not certain even for as long as it takes to chew and swallow four or five mouthfuls.
This is how death should be recollected as to the limitedness of the extent.
