Āhārepaṭikkūlabhāvanā

(一)食厌想的修习

[PERCEPTION OF REPULSIVENESS IN NUTRIMENT]

294. Idāni āruppānantaraṃ ekā saññāti evaṃ uddiṭṭhāya āhāre paṭikkūlasaññāya bhāvanāniddeso anuppatto.

今在无色之后,再来解释前面所提示的「一想」的食厌想的修习。

Ñ(XI,1): [341] Now comes the description of the development of the perception of repulsiveness in nutriment, which was listed as the 'one perception' next to the immaterial states (Ch. III, §105).

Tattha āharatīti āhāro.

(食厌想的语义)这里的「食」是取来的意思。

Ñ: Herein: it nourishes (āharati, lit. brings on), thus it is nutriment (āhāra, lit. bringing on).

So catubbidho kabaḷīkārāhāro, phassāhāro, manosañcetanāhāro, viññāṇāhāroti.

有段食、触食、意思食、识食的四种。

Ñ: That is of four kinds as physical nutriment, nutriment consisting of contact, nutriment consisting of mental volition, and nutriment consisting of consciousness.
