Sosānikañhi maraṇānusatippabhāvā,
Niddāgatampi na phusanti pamādadosā;
Sampassato ca kuṇapāni bahūni tassa,
Kāmānubhāvavasagampi na hoti cittaṃ.
冢间住者由于常起念死的力量,
睡眠之时也无放逸的过失,
因为数数观死尸,
征服了心中的贪欲。
Ñ(II,68): Even in sleep the dweller in a charnel ground shows naught
Of negligence[ˈneɡlidʒəns], for death is ever present to his thought;
He may be sure there is no lust after sense pleasure preys
Upon his mind, with many corpses present to his gaze.
Saṃvegameti vipulaṃ na madaṃ upeti,
Sammā atho ghaṭati nibbutimesamāno;
Sosānikaṅgamitinekaguṇāvahattā,
Nibbānaninnahadayena nisevitabbanti.
以大悚惧[sǒng jù],渐至无骄的境地,
为求寂静而作正当的努力;
当以倾向涅盘的心,
去行那具有种种功德的冢间住支。
Ñ: Rightly he strives because he gains a sense of urgency,
While in his search for final peace he curbs[kə:b] all vanity.
Let him that feels a learning to nibbana in his heart
Embrace this practice for it has rare virtues to impart.
Ayaṃ sosānikaṅge samādānavidhānappabhedabhedānisaṃsavaṇṇanā.
这是冢间住支的受持、规定、区别、破坏、功德的解释。
Ñ: This is the commentary on the undertaking, directions, grades, breach, and benefits, in the case of the charnel-ground dweller's practice. [78]
