Visuddhimagga XXII-29

Tassevaṃ paṭipannassa vuttanayeneva saṅkhārupekkhāvasāne ekāvajjanena anulomagotrabhuñāṇesu uppannesu gotrabhuanantaraṃ arahattamaggo uppajjati, tena sampayuttaṃ ñāṇaṃ arahattamagge ñāṇanti.

如是行道者，依前述之法，于行舍智之末，由一（意门）转向而生起随顺智及种姓智之时，即于种姓之后生起阿罗汉道。与彼相应之智为阿罗汉道智。

Ñ(XXII,29): When he has done so, and when, at the end of equanimity about formations, conformity and change-of-lineage have arisen in a single adverting, then the path of Arahantship arises next to change-of-lineage. The knowledge associated with that is knowledge of the path of Arahantship.



Catutthañāṇaṃ niṭṭhitaṃ.

Ñ: The fourth kind of knowledge is ended.
