Visuddhimagga IV-123

Nimittaggahaṇena cassa puna te ākāre sampādayato appanāmattameva ijjhati, na ciraṭṭhānaṃ.

（初禅的进展（2）障碍法的净化）由于把取于相及再于彼等行相成就者。则仅为安止定（一剎那）的成就，不是长久的，

Ñ(IV,123): And when he recaptures those modes by apprehending the sign, he just succeeds in reaching absorption, but not in making it last.



Ciraṭṭhānaṃ pana samādhiparibandhānaṃ dhammānaṃ suvisodhitattā hoti.

若能善净于定的障碍法，则得长久继续。

Ñ: It lasts when it is absolutely purified from states that obstruct concentration.
