Yā pana ‘‘upekkhāsahagatena cetasā ekaṃ disaṃ pharitvā viharatī’’ti (dī. ni. 1.556; ma. ni. 1.77) evamāgatā sattesu majjhattākārabhūtā upekkhā, ayaṃ brahmavihārupekkhā nāma.
(2)「与舍俱的心,遍满一方而住」,如是说则为对于诸有情的中正行相为舍,是名「梵住舍」。
