Visuddhimagga VIII-175

Passambhayaṃ kāyasaṅkhāraṃ assasissāmīti…pe… passasissāmīti sikkhatīti oḷārikaṃ kāyasaṅkhāraṃ passambhento paṭippassambhento nirodhento vūpasamento assasissāmi passasissāmīti sikkhati.

(四)「学我念安息身行出息••••••乃至••••••入息」──是学对于粗的身行念安息,极安息、消灭、寂止、而我出息入息。

Ñ(VIII,175): (iv) He trains thus: 'I shall breathe in … shall breathe out tranquillizing the bodily formation'; he trains thus: 'I shall breathe in, shall breathe out tranquillizing, completely tranquillizing, stopping, stilling, the gross bodily formation'.
