Visuddhimagga IV-61

Ekādasa dhammā samādhisambojjhaṅgassa uppādāya saṃvattanti vatthuvisadatā,

(定觉支生起的十一缘)有十一法为定觉支的生起(一)清洁事物,

Ñ(IV,61): Eleven things lead to the arising of the concentration enlightenment factor: (i) making the basis clean,



nimittakusalatā,

(二)于相善巧,

Ñ: (ii) skill in the sign,



indriyasamattapaṭipādanatā,

(三)诸根平等而行道,

Ñ: (iii) balancing the faculties,



samaye cittassa niggahaṇatā,

(四)适时抑制于心,

Ñ: (iv) restraining the mind on occasion,



samaye cittassa paggahaṇatā,

(五)适时策励于心,

Ñ: (v) exerting the mind on occasion,



nirassādassa cittassa saddhāsaṃvegavasena sampahaṃsanatā,

(六)用信和悚惧使无兴趣之心而生喜悦,

Ñ: (vi) encouraging the listless mind by means of faith and a sense of urgency,



sammāpavattassa ajjhupekkhanatā,

(七)对于正行而不干涉,

Ñ: (vii) looking on with equanimity at what is occurring rightly,



asamāhitapuggalaparivajjanatā,

(八)远离于无定之人,

Ñ: (viii) avoidance of unconcentrated persons,



samāhitapuggalasevanatā,

(九)亲近有定的人,

Ñ: (ix) cultivation of concentrated persons,



jhānavimokkhapaccavekkhaṇatā,

(十)观察禅与解脱,

Ñ: (x) reviewing of the jhānas and liberations,



tadadhimuttatāti.

(十一)专注于定觉支。

Ñ: (xi) resoluteness upon that [concentration].
