290. Evaṃ santepi –

虽然如此：

Ñ(X,59): That being so:



Suppaṇītatarā honti, pacchimā pacchimā idha;

Upamā tattha viññeyyā, pāsādatalasāṭikā.

但各各较后的更胜妙，

须知层楼衣服的譬喻。

Ñ: They progress in refinement; each

Is finer than the one before.

Two figures help to make them known:

The cloth lengths, and each palace floor.
