Visuddhimagga XI-90

Yūsagatā ābandhanākārabhūtā panettha āpodhātu pathavīpatiṭṭhitā tejānupālitā vāyovitthambhitā na paggharati na parissavati,

次于此（身）中，液态的粘结相的水界，依地而住，以火保护，以风支持，才不致滴漏流散，

Ñ(XI,90): The liquid water element that is the mode of cohesion, being founded on earth, maintained by fire, and distended by air, does not trickle or run away.



apaggharamānā aparissavamānā pīṇitapīṇitabhāvaṃ dasseti.

因不滴漏及流散，故渐渐呈示肥满的状态。

Ñ: Instead of trickling or running away it provides continued refreshments.
