Visuddhimagga III-30

Tattha āvāsoti ekopi ovarako vuccati ekampi pariveṇaṃ sakalopi saṅghārāmo.

1.「住所」── 是指一个内室,或私房,亦可指整个僧伽蓝而说。

Ñ(III,30): 1. Herein, a single inner room or a single hut or a whole monastery for the Community is called a dwelling.

Svāyaṃ na sabbasseva palibodho hoti.

这并非说对一切人都是障碍的。

Ñ: This is not an impediment for everyone.

Yo panettha navakammādīsu ussukkaṃ vā āpajjati, bahubhaṇḍasannicayo vā hoti, yena kenaci vā kāraṇena apekkhavā paṭibaddhacitto, tasseva palibodho hoti, na itarassa.

诸比丘中,如有热心从事于修建等事,或者积贮[zhù]很多物品的,或以任何原因而对住所有所期望并且于心有所系缚[fù]的,对于这样的人则住所成为障碍。对于其它的则不然。

Ñ: It is an impediment only for anyone whose mind is exercised about the building, etc., that goes on there, or who has many belongings stored there, or whose mind is caught up by some business connected with it. For any other it is not an impediment.

Sayādaw U Sīlānanda: [business => reason].

Han: Mahāsī Sayādaw [=> reason]

Sayādaw further explained with a foot-note that the "reason" for being caught up the building means [easily available shelter, water, alms-food, etc. at the building].
