Visuddhimagga II-66

Pabhedato pana ayampi tividho hoti. Tattha ukkaṭṭhena yattha dhuvaḍāhadhuvakuṇapadhuvarodanāni atthi, tattheva vasitabbaṃ. Majjhimassa tīsu ekasmimpi sati vaṭṭati. Mudukassa vuttanayena susānalakkhaṇaṃ pattamatte vaṭṭati.

(区别)其区别亦有三种:此中上者,当在常烧常有死尸及常有号泣之处而住。中者,于上述的三种之中有一种即可。下者,住在如前述的冢墓形相(荼毗后十二年未再荼毗的)亦可。

Ñ(II,66): This has three grades too. Herein, one who is strict should live where there are always burnings and corpses and mourning. The medium one is allowed to live where there is one of these three. The mild one is allowed to live in a place that possesses the bare characteristics of a charnel ground already stated.

Imesaṃ pana tiṇṇampi na susānamhi vāsaṃ kappanena dhutaṅgaṃ bhijjati. Susānaṃ agatadivaseti aṅguttarabhāṇakā. Ayamettha bhedo.

(破坏)这三种人,若不住于冢墓之处,便算破坏了头陀支。增支部的诵者说:这是指不去冢墓之日而说的。这是破坏。

Ñ: When any one of these three makes his abode in some place not a charnel ground, his ascetic practice is broken. It is on the day on which he does not go to the charnel ground, the Aṅguttara reciters say. This is the breach in this case.
